9 July 2009 – Boeing has started to conduct taxi tests of their next generation commercial aircraft, the 787. The first taxi tests were performed on 7 July 2009 at Beoing Filed, Everette, WA. This is a good sign for the program which has been marred by delays due in part to the Union Strikes that hit the company earlier this year.
